Dr. John Ngan, Fellow, Division of Urology


Cinical Appointments

Dr. Ngan received his medical degree at the University of Hong Kong. Thereafter, he was trained in General Surgery at the University of Hong Kong under Prof. G.B. Ong and Prof. John Wong. In 1988, he was appointed Lectureship in General Surgery in the University. Dr. Ngan then received his urology training at the University of Illinois . He received American Foundation of Urologic Disease Fellowship in 1993-1995 and served as an American Urological Association Scholar. In these two years, he studied prostate proliferation and differentiation with Dr. Chung Lee at Northwestern University . He is currently a Clinical instructor in pediatric urology with Dr. Michael Mitchell at the University of Washington in Seattle. Besides his clinical and research work, Dr. Ngan is also authoring the Exstrophy Home Page and ONLINE Pediatric Urology.
